A large carnival parade. The five senses converted into sculptural, musical,
performance and parade form with more than 300 participants.
The first non-motorised, all acoustic, people-oriented, smelly parade Manchester ever experienced!
A unique event for Stockport, Bury and Manchester during the Streets Ahead Festival, specially commissioned for Manchester BBC Music Live – transforming the 5 senses into carnival forms with music, moving sculpture, elaborate costumes, images to smell and offerings to taste; featuring more than 300 participants, on a parade route from Shambles Square, through St Ann’s Square, onto Cross Street and finishing in Albert Square.
