A humorous, atmospheric rumination on contrasts, shot through with eccentric invention.

An indoor show about family life with a revolving set.

“Lawrence Looseleaf lives with his landlady, Florence Leafloose, in a small sandpit disguised as a home. He is a spy investigating her. She suspects nothing; Lawrence acts oddly most of the time.

She goes out to work every day. He goes nowhere. There are spoons everywhere.

He eventually realises that the HQ he has been faithfully radioing every day for the last 2½ years has not been receiving his messages. He gives up spying and storms into the garden – a place held in almost mythic reverence by Florence …”
